KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHNA..

This movie I wanted to see very much after all the hype it had created.. directed by one of the best directors of Bollywood(atleast in his genre)..After 3 hrs, I came out of the theatre with a mild headache and wanted to ask the theatrewala to repay my 50 bucks..The movie didnt live up to the hype at all.. After all the 'feel good' movies Johar has made, This one has some of the same traditional Karan style, but apart from that, The movie technically had nothing special... It is by no way comparable to karan's previous ventures in spite of the big cast. This film heavily banks on director and star value..Its by far the worst 'dharma' movie..

Dev Saran (Shahrukh), a successful footballer, is unhappily married to Rhea (Preity), who has a gr8 job in a fashion magazine.They ve a son,Arjun.The 2nd couple,Maya(Rani) is about to unhappily marry her childhood buddy Rishi Talwar(b),son of 'Sexy' Sam(B).
Dev and Maya have a conversation and they connect instantly(a la tamil movies).then 4 yrs later...Maya's married to Rishi and Dev's football career comes to an end after an accident.Maya also is unhappy with Rishi..so they fall in love and have an affair.Big B comes to know bout the affair(who also have a sorta relationship that seems romantic with dev's mom)..Later he gets a heart attack and he advises rani on his death bed to leave his son if she felt the marriage was unhappy..
(More boring stuff) 15 -20 mins later

Dev and Maya decide to leave each other and return to their partners. But this re-union would not be without honesty, so they come clean and confess about their extra-marital affair. Rishi and Rhea decide enough is enough and end their marriages.. however they lie to each other that all is well in their marriages and stay apart.

But in three years, Rishi and Maya meet and Rishi asks her to come to his wedding. There Maya meets Rhea and realises that she and Dev weren't together as she thought. The news that Dev is still alone, combined with some prodding from Rishi and Rhea convinces Maya to run after Dev. And then the usual railway station climax(uff!!had a hard tiome staying in the theatre)

My advice : keep off the theatres even if u r completely jobless.
